Mrs. Wall's First Grade Classroom
WELCOME TO FIRST GRADE!
Tuesday: LIBRARY SPANISH
Friday: PHYS. ED
The children will bring home a different activity each night(Monday thru Thursday) to practice various skills in math, reading, science and social studies.
Some activities are just fun things we will be learning in first grade.
Activity packets MUST be returned the next day in order for each child to get a chance with each activity. If your child is absent and it cannot be sent in with a sibling, that is fine of course, I will work that out.
The activities should be used to address your child's individual needs and there is no pressure to use each activity.
If there is an activity you need to revisit, let me know and I will send it home after the rotation of all activities.
The retelling story cards are a great practice for all reading skills this year.
After the rotation of activities, the students will bring home supplemental reading until it is time to start the next unit.
Again, use according to your child's needs.
